Mary-Ann has more than twenty years experience as a consultant in rural and environmental policy, assessment and review. Originally working in the energy industry, she then specialised in sustainable development and the rural environment before recognising the critical importance of climate change and carbon management.  She is one of the founder directors of the successful international environmental consultancy RSK Group plc, and in 2007 joined with the Khoslas to set up the Crichton Carbon Centre in Dumfries.
