Crichton Carbon Centre Briefing Notes

This series of Briefing Notes is designed for readers who are not ‘carbon professionals’ but who still wish to gain a working knowledge of the practical ways in which carbon influences our activities.

The Briefing Note project is part financed by the Scottish Government, the European Community and Dumfries & Galloway LEADER 2007-2013 programme. Thus, although they will be of general interest, it will be found that there is some specific focus on the needs of small organisations based in this region of rural Scotland.

It is assumed that the ‘typical’ reader has no knowledge of Carbon Management concepts or jargon. They are seeking information which will help them make decisions that may result in important changes in their organisation.
