Crichton Carbon Centre Scholarships for students studying towards the University of Glasgow MSc in Applied Carbon Management

The Crichton Carbon Centre will award three prestigious scholarships to postgraduate students for 2010 entry onto the University of Glasgow MSc in Applied Carbon Management programme.  The scholarships are awarded on behalf of our sponsors, two from the leading environmental consultancy RSK and one from the leading renewable energy consultancy  Natural Power. The Scholarships are towards course fees and are payable directly to the University of Glasgow.

Applications for the 2010 Scholarship Awards are now open and will close on the 30th July 2010.

To be considered for one of these scholarship awards, you need to have been offered and accepted a place for entry (either full-time or part-time) onto the University of Glasgow MSc in Applied Carbon Management programme in September 2010.  All UK, EU or international candidates who have accepted a place on the MSc programme are eligible for the awards.   

To apply for a scholarship award, candidates must submit:

  1. A copy of their CV
  2. A completed application form (See below)
  3. A letter of recommendation - download in pdf or download in word

It is also the responsibility of the candidate to ensure that their referee submits a completed referee form and provides a reference by the application deadline.

If you wish to apply for both the Natural Power and RSK scholarships, you must submit a a separate application form for each award, but only one copy of your CV and one reference is required.

The recipients of the 2010 CCC RSK Scholarships will also have the opportunity to arrange their work placement or dissertation with this leading environmental consultancy.

Natural Power have supported our MSc Programme since its launch in 2007, both through the scholarship award and hosting our graduates on the Sustainable Energy Technologies optional course for a 2 day wind power workshop.  The recipient of the 2010 CCC Natural Power Scholarship will be required to undertake a work placement with this leading consultancy.
