  • September each year, whether full time or part time

  • Can I study part time?
  • Yes.  The course can be studied either full time (1 year) or part time (2 years). We are also looking to develop more flexible modes of study in the future.

  • What are the entry requirements?
  • For entry on to our MSc programme you will need a good honours degree, or equivalent, from a recognised University. Please note that you will be asked to supply transcripts and translations of your qualifications where necessary.   • When do I need to apply by?
  • We are currently considering applications for 2009/2010 entry.  We have had an enormous interest in the programme this year, and would advise you to submit your application at the earliest possible date.

  • What is the relationship between the Crichton Carbon Centre and the University of Glasgow?
  • The MSc in Carbon Management was jointly developed and is jointly delivered by the Crichton Carbon Centre staff and University of Glasgow staff. Students on this programme therefore benefit from the knowledge and experience of both sets of staff, from an academic and business perspective. The programme is validated by the University of Glasgow.

  • What qualification do I gain after completion?
  • After successful completion of the taught programme you are eligible for the award of Diploma in Carbon Management.  To be awarded the MSc in Carbon Management you must also successfully complete the research component of the course. All qualifications are awarded by the University of Glasgow.

  •  Are scholarships available?
  •  The Crichton Carbon Centre awards two prestigious scholarships, one from the leading Environmental Consultancy     RSK and one from Natural Power.  For further information on the scholarships, and how to apply, please see our scholarships pages. In addition, candidates for the MSc in Carbon Management are also eligible to apply for scholarships offered by the University of Glasgow.
